Sesame Street 1-2-3 Learn with Me Potty Chair – Giveaway

I can’t believe we’re already talking about potty training, it seems like just yesterday I was announcing my second pregnancy.  Brooklin loves all things Elmo!  From our favorite organic food brand, to books and toys she’s had it all. Even better Pamper’s has put an Elmo on every diaper and now she has Elmo giving her a high-five on her potty. The Sesame Street 1-2-3 Learn with Me Potty Chair was sent to us to review from Kolcraft.

The Sesame Street 1-2-3 Learn with Me Potty Chair really has three uses and has a no skid bottom to keep it in it’s place.

  1. Potty chair with large bowl to prevent splashes and leaks.
  2. Easily converts to a step stool.
  3. Potty training chair with a removable seat that fits most adult toilets.

So far Brooklin hasn’t used it as a toy and she’s already gone in it, I think she’s still unaware of the concept of holding to then going potty. So over the next few months we’re going to continue to work on it, Elmo potty chair and all!

Available at Babies R Us and online retailers for $27.99.

We have one more Sesame Street 1-2-3 Learn with Me Potty Chair to give away.

This is one that worked for my oldest, who was a big Pokemon fan. I told him that he couldn’t evolve from a little boy to a big boy until he had a Potty Stone. And he couldn’t win a Potty Stone until he could use the potty all by himself regularly. We went out and bought some ceramic monsters and I let him help me paint one of them. It waited where he could see it until he was potty trained, and then I gave it to him. He was so excited about “evolving” from a little boy to a big boy with his potty stone!

We are just starting the potty training phase for my son, but I know he would love to have this sesame street potty seat.

  3. says

I usually place the potty chair in the TV room and 30 to 45 minutes after each meal I have my child sit and within that time, something usually happens in the potty.

fave: jeep sport 2 in 1 carrier
tips: with some kids I used to babysit, I just took the diapers and we put in the top of the closet. They had a family photo in the bathroom and I would do the voice of the mom, dad, and brother saying, “You can do it!” He would ask for the photo voices and wet the bed the first night, but after that…NO MORE DIAPERS. It was a miracle. The parents had been trying for months. I think it takes an outside source sometimes to help.

Be patient, when the child is ready you will no it! I also like the Jeep® Travel Anywhere® Sport 2-in-1 Booster Seat & Everyday Bag!

The only one I can think of at the moment {b/c I’m dealing with it LOL} is make sure your little one goes potty right before bed! If you forget this, it can mean a wet mess for mommy in the morning!! XD Oh, and I checked out the site and really like that LiteSport stroller. It looks like it would be great for our trips to the zoo when we don’t want to be pushing around any extra weight than we already are. LOL

I have no tips for potty training as this will be my first. Another item on the Kolcraft site that my child would love is the Jeep® Liberty Renegade Baby Walker. Very neat walker. Love it!

I haven’t started potty training my oldest son yet, but I need to get him started. The tip I have heard repeatedly is to work on getting potty trained during the daytime before you ever think about trying to do nighttime as well. Thanks for the contest! codisweepstakes2 (@) gmail(dot)com

im getting ready to potty train my daughter kelsey.the tip i have is keep being consistent

  21. theresa g says

My best tip: When first starting out, be sure to get your child out of bed/crib as soon as they wake up. Then, immediately bring them to the potty. Usually, kids don’t pee while they are in a deep sleep so if you catch them when they just wake up they can learn how it feels to pee on the potty.

The new Kolcraft optima stroller looks really nice.

  22. Jennifer J says

I don’t really have any tips since my little girl isn’t potty training yet but I will need some soon!

  23. Lentil says

We’re at the earliest stages of potty training, but my advice is to follow the child’s lead. They let you know when they are ready. Don’t push it. But make a big deal about the successes. Not sure what else my daughter would like from Kolcraft… the Jeep® Travel Anywhere Sport 2-in-1 Booster Seat & Everyday Bag perhaps?

  24. hallie p says

With my daughter (first child =D) I let her hang aroundthe house diaper free and she pee pees in the potty all by herself its easier because she dosent have to pull down a pull up or pants… that helped her ;earn about being aware of when she has to go, now when we go out shopping or playing she tells me when she has to go.

  25. Laura Emerson says

I just started to potty train my daughter. It might seem silly but she is potty training her favorite doll at the same time. Each time my daughter uses the potty, her doll uses one that we made for her. She is so relaxed this way and loves the fact that dolly is learning how to use the potty too!

  26. Jane H says

I always make sure that my child’s favorite toys are by the potty so that he/she want to be there. Thanks for the opportunity to win.

  27. susan smoaks says

I try not to make potty training stressful. I try to make it as fun as possible. that way it’s not dreaded. our son would also love the Jeep® Liberty Renegade Walker

  30. Gianna says

I potty trained my son in about two days offering a treat every time he used the toilet.
