Of all Disney characters Alice is Kaila’s favorite. We waited in line at Epcot just to finally meet Alice and was Kaila happy. She has the Alice in Wonderland: 60th Anniversary Edition on DVD but now it’s finally being released on Blu-ray on February 1st.
We were sent this Blu-ray to add to our collection thanks to Disney to review, and first I’d like to just focus on the additional Blu-ray features, since we should all know the story by now.
The Alice in Wonderland: 60th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray also comes with a DVD and plenty of bonus materials. If you own a PS3 do remember that Blu-ray also plays on PS3. There’s some fun new games like “Painting The Roses Red” and a Blu-ray exclusive “Looking Through The Keyhole”.
One thing I love about Blu-ray and high definition is the color, Disney has perfectly restored the original movie in such bright color thanks to the clear 1080p encoding.

Movie night is variable depending on our work schedules. We like to mix old and new movies.
We have family movie night at our house in our living room with popcorn and picnic dinner

we pull out blankets and pillows and dim the lights and make fresh popped popcorn!

On family movie night we make our own pizza and pop up some popcorn. Then we change into our pajamas and bring over pillows and blankets and watch movies until we fall asleep.
We make snacks and gather on the couch together.
