Holiday Gift Guide Stocking Stuffer Ideas – Mix Pups Giveaway

As much as these little figures get used in my house Kai was more than thrilled when she learned she was going to get a few Mix Pups to review. Stockings are a big tradition in my family, and every family member gets one with their name on it. This year is no different, I’m already browsing the isles for cute little stocking stuffer ideas.

Mix Pups are the perfect stocking stuffer, priced at only $5.99 you can get one for every girls stocking. Kaila and her friend both got one and they spent the afternoon dressing them and playing with them. I can say a leg fell off and was too hard for them to get it back on but other than that they had a great afternoon. I actually want to pick up an accessory pack for Kai’s stocking. She loves her little dog Bailey, and enjoys playing with it. Not sure what it is about girls and being able to dress things, but she loves it!

You can find Mix Pups inside any Toys R Us and there’s a wide variety to pick from. There’s even a new van that allows your child to create even more fun!

I have two single packs of the Mix Pups to put in your child’s stocking!

Our stockings tend to end up being a bit insane between my mom and I. I love finding underwear and cool socks for the kids and she loves to find unique little toys and candies. We both love to hunt down the things that each child is into like art supplies for my daughter and Star Wars for my son to stick in their stockings as well. We both actually get soooo into the stockings every year that the kids are more into them than all the wrapped gifts from everyone else.

We always have made a big thing out of stockings (which I handknit) for my kids, who are now grown and married. Now we have grandchildren, and love to carry on the tradition of a big orange in the bottom of the stocking, which is always enjoyed at breakfast time, and a Pez dispenser is a must. Other than that, through the year, we pick up little things like special pencils, sharpeners, wind-up toys and small animal figures. Our granddaughters seem to enjoy opening up their stockings even more than gifts!
