Holiday Gift Guide – Litl Webbook Computer Giveaway

Now that it’s almost Christmas I’ve been baking more and more, Christmas is one of my favorite times of year and I always make wonderful treats for my family and friends. Just yesterday while I was making dinner my husband turned to me and said “You like cooking, don’t you?” You know he’s right. I do enjoy cooking, and baking. I am always bringing my computer into the kitchen for my recipes, while I have books a lot of recipes I want to try are online.

That’s what makes a computer like the litl webbook so perfect for someone like me. It only goes online, there’s no extra applications or programs. If the only thing you do on your computer is go online the litl is a great gift. Personally, I think the litl is a great gift idea for someone like my Grandmother. She doesn’t do much other than email, pictures and web viewing. She would need something simple and not complicated and that’s exactly what the litl is. It even has a really cute egg timer for while you’re baking.

The litl removes all the clutter, there’s no files or folders. You can store your photos, videos, and documents online and view them right form your litl from anywhere. Connect the litl through wi-fi and you’re ready to surf the web. Instead of hiding your items away the litl stores them right on the main screen. It neat little boxes, which as a blogger I can view and flip through a number of feeds right through the main screen. I don’t have to go to individual url’s and if I want to read more on a website it allows me to open the full page to be easily viewed. There’s no updates, no virus protection. The litl is simple and allows the user to browse the internet in an easier fashion.

It’s a great gift idea for the internet only user and can be bought  online now for $399.00.

Guess what? I have one litl to give away!

I have a very old desk top computer that I use to read my emails, search the web read your blog and others but it is very slow and won’t load a lot of sites because it isw that old. I would love to have the lil I would be able to move through out the house and use it and it would be so nice to be able to actually see a video or here a song on the computer which I can’t do now.

I use my computer for blogging and I am a graphic designer. If I were to win this I would either use it when I am away from home. For instance sometimes I want to take my work to a restaurant and eat too. I hate that I have to take my big 15 inch laptop. I could use it to get some basic blogging, research, social networking, and emails out of the way. OR I could be a nice mommy and give it to one of my kids as a gift. Not only am I a tech chick, I have a tech family too.

I use my computer for “everything” but, primarily–and most importantly–I use it for a major project that I’ve been working on for a number of years. If I could make this project a success the benefits for charity would be spectacular. {It would also be good for me in all honesty.] I could tell you what this project is…but then I’d have to…well, you know. Seriously, it would not be advisable to publicize what I’m doing because parts of it I can’t copyright or trademark. This would mean I couldn’t protect what I’m doing and others could “hijack” my idea and use it for other things. However, my goal is to link it to charitable causes. Unfortunately, my present computer is giving me problems which I can’t easily get assistance with and this delays my progress. So, a new computer would truly help me with furthering my progress in achieving what I believe would be great for everyone involved.
