Holiday Gift Guide – Litl Webbook Computer Giveaway

Now that it’s almost Christmas I’ve been baking more and more, Christmas is one of my favorite times of year and I always make wonderful treats for my family and friends. Just yesterday while I was making dinner my husband turned to me and said “You like cooking, don’t you?” You know he’s right. I do enjoy cooking, and baking. I am always bringing my computer into the kitchen for my recipes, while I have books a lot of recipes I want to try are online.

That’s what makes a computer like the litl webbook so perfect for someone like me. It only goes online, there’s no extra applications or programs. If the only thing you do on your computer is go online the litl is a great gift. Personally, I think the litl is a great gift idea for someone like my Grandmother. She doesn’t do much other than email, pictures and web viewing. She would need something simple and not complicated and that’s exactly what the litl is. It even has a really cute egg timer for while you’re baking.

The litl removes all the clutter, there’s no files or folders. You can store your photos, videos, and documents online and view them right form your litl from anywhere. Connect the litl through wi-fi and you’re ready to surf the web. Instead of hiding your items away the litl stores them right on the main screen. It neat little boxes, which as a blogger I can view and flip through a number of feeds right through the main screen. I don’t have to go to individual url’s and if I want to read more on a website it allows me to open the full page to be easily viewed. There’s no updates, no virus protection. The litl is simple and allows the user to browse the internet in an easier fashion.

It’s a great gift idea for the internet only user and can be bought  online now for $399.00.

Guess what? I have one litl to give away!

I can totally identify with using your computer as a cookbook. In fact I just got rid of so many cookbooks because all my recipes are online. I’d use the litl for that as well as browsing blogs during the kid’s nap time :) Or I could read e-books on it! wow, I started out thinking I’d only use it for blogging and email but now I’m seeing how useful it would be!

  2. Marilyn Wons says

I would use the litl for my writings. I like to compose and this would be perfect for me. thank you

  3. says

Well I currently use my computer for everything business, personal and blog related and eventually it will become my son’s workstation for school too (I hate sharing lol). I would love to use the Litl in the kitchen with me to watch videos and demos of recipes while I cook.

We use our computer for searching for coupons and deals on the web, messaging friends, the kids use the computer to look up info they need for homework or emailing friends and family.
I would be able to use the litl anywhere in the house! I can quickly check my email, watch something on you tube or hop on over to facebook. I will feel confident that the teens can’t download any virus while searching the web.

On September 21st on a return trip of 1200 miles from staying at my mothers (who had recently had health issues)(went into a coma and found out she had a cancer lesion on her lung)
she is doing good and is waiting for more tests and results before doing surgery
Any way on that trip driving home started having eye issues, within a day couldn’t barely see out of my left eye
Well at almost 52 my birthday is 11/18
I found out I have macular degeneration and there is no cure
I’m coping and trying to manage, I still haven’t got enough strength to drive I’m so afraid I could mis judge and do something wrong
I’m truly crushed by not being able to see my pc as good, reading after a while gives me headaches
I would love to have the Lit webbook to read emails, enter contests
with its light weight and can be angled I could hold it closer to see with less strain on my eyes.

I use my laptop for blogging, looking up recipes, shopping and much more! With a son in jr. high and one in upper elementary, it’s pretty normal to have at least one of my kiddos asking to borrow my laptop, so I think the litl would come in handy with the two oldest boys and homework time!

  37. Courtney says

I would use it to keep all my recipes. This would be perfect for trying out new recipes and having this handy so you don’t have to keep going back to check the recipe online. You’d have it right there!

  38. Lisa B. says

I use my computer for research, social network and productivity tools. I really like that the litl allows you to “connect to the big screen.”

  39. JC says

I use my computer for paying bills, emailing and for searching for homeschool curriculum. I would use the Litl to help with homeschooling since it is so small and could be put on the table with my kids and myself for reference to the things we are studying. We could also take it with us when we are at the library, etc.

  40. stacey dempsey (roswell) says

this is really cool i have never seen this before, my teenage son is a budding movie maker, he, with his siblings have scripts and costumes etc this would be great as he never has anywhere to store his creations and an easy was to take them and show people. there are a thousand other things we would use this for but i know he would love that , what an awesome gift if i could give this to him

I use my computer for everything. I watch movies online, check email, run my home based business and enter sweeps. I would give my son the litl as a present. It has everything he needs and nothing more.

  47. Nicole says

This would be the perfect gift for my husband who likes to play games on the internet. This would allow him to play his games without tying up the computer for the rest of us. I would also like to use it for checking my email or taking online surveys instead of having to boot up our desktop computer that can be very slow!

  48. Louise Gilbert says

I love my computer.I call it my own personal library. I do lots on my computer from photo editing, downloading, and doing contests like this one:)

  49. Kiersten says

I use my computer for work–I even work when we’re on vacation! So the Litl would be awesome because I wouldn’t have to lug my huge laptop around.

  50. Linda Kish says

Forgot to say what I’d use the Litl for…I could carry it much easier than my computer!! I could take it with me to restaurants that have WiFi.

I am always on the go and really don’t have as much time as I need to do stuff online, like write posts, socialize and network. I would take the litl with me everywhere I go and it would really make my life SO much easier. This would be a life saver for me!

  52. Michelle Stice says

I would use the Litl for basic computing needs. Checking my email, surfing web and such. I have WiFi but my laptop is a larger model and not very mobile. I need something I can grab to go outside and sit at the picnic table when the weather is nice and the kids are playing in the yard. Something to take to Starbucks and look “Uber Cool” when I can escape the clutches of my children and have my husband take a turn for 30 or so wonderful minutes here and there.

First of all I learned about this sweeps from Bella.
A computer is a vital part of my life. I keep in contact with our wide spread family. I learn about skin care, I find recipes to try and I enter sweeps. I would love to win this Litl Computer because my computer is old and keeps crashing. I can’t afford many more repair expenses and living on Social Security leaves no room for purchasing more than just the basics.

  65. Sue E says

I use my laptop for checking email, browsing, downloading songs, and giveaways. I share it with my son, so this one would be totally mine! In addition to the things I mentioned, I would use it for storing pictures.

  66. says

Wow! This is just awesome! I think the litl would be the perfect general computer around our house. There are those times you just don’t want to power up the big desktop like when you want to: get maps and directions, look up phone numbers, find a recipe, shoot a quick Tweet or email, view photos, and many, many more! I love the pic on their site of the litl sitting on the kitchen counter while the woman is cooking…how cool would that be?!?

Thanks for the awesome giveaway!!! :)

  67. says

I use my computer for several different things. First I am a mother of five children and I use my computer to stay in touch with the two oldest ones that are attending Bible college in Ok. City, Ok.
I do not know what I would do if I could not keep up with what is going on in their lives.
Secondly I am a pastors wife and I use my computer to write two blogs.
The first one is my family blog and my testimony of my walk with the Lord.
The second one is my reviewer blog. I started it last year just to enter contests and have
a place to post others buttons but it later turned into a reviewer and giveaway blog.
I love this litl computer because in my spare time I take lots of photos and this would be a great
place to upload and share them with friends and family and not eat up all the room on my other computer, I love that it is so portable. It would make playing online so much easier.
This would be a great gift which is probably what it will end up being, even though I would love to keep it for SELF, I learned a long time ago having five children it is always better to give than to receive. My oldest son just got married and this would be a great Christmas gift for his new lil wife and since I have been driving them crazy about giving me a grand baby maybe this will be a good bribe gift to get one…….lol
    Thanks for this giveaway.

She may even use it in the kitchen (Like that it isn’t much bigger than the toaster in the kitchen pic above) THANKS

  88. Jennifer B. says

What would I use this wonderful litl for? Oh, let me count the ways:

    1. I love that it flips over and that is AWESOME for when I am cooking and having to read a recipe. I have just recently just put my family’s recipes online and this would make it much easier in the kitchen. Or even when I am trying to follow instructions on some craft or renovation project that I am working on.

    2. Enter contests of course!!

    3. Shop online, check out facebook, twitter, catch up with friends and meet new friends along the way. I like that everything is right there since I am constantly doing a multiple of things at anytime, checking email, updating everyone’s schedule, invoices for my husbands company, checking my calendar for something, grocery lists, etc.

    4. And I won’t have to share with my husband or kids, like I do now, if I don’t feel like it!!! Ha Ha.

    Thank you

I would not use this myself but give to my mom as a gift. She gave up her computer because it was “too scary” for her. She used it for email and to play games on but for other applications she was too overwhelmed. THIS Litl thing will be PERFECT for her!!!! I checked on site and these are the main things I know she would use it for:

    # Check email, news, and weather
    # View and share photos
    # Look up and use new recipes

plus, she might listen to music and radio broadcasts too.

thanks for reviewing this (never HEARD of it) and the chance to get one for my 78 year old mom!

This would definitely be shared by family depending on need each day. We only have one computer which gets difficult having an ebay business & 2 kids in school.

This would be perfect for when my kids have homework & need to get online (which seems like a daily thing with my 8th grader)

It would be great for me to stay updated with my blog, social sites, ebay & etsy at all times no matter where I am in the house.

It would also be great for my husband, when we are busy on the computer. He is trying to find a job & checks online throughout the day for new postings. etc.

Omigosh, that is exactly what I would use it for too. I am always luggling laptop into the kitchen. That doesn’t sound too bad, but my battery is shot and I have to have it plugged in. Ok, still not soooo bad, but the mouse pad on my laptop is shot too. So I have to have a mouse plugged in. Man oh man it gets messy. I save tons of recipes online at sites like Kraft and am always pulling them out, but have to run into the other room and recheck measurements because I usually skip trying to put all that junk from my laptop on the island. Ya know? Gets complicated. I saw that picture of it sitting perfectly on your counter and was immediately jealous. In a good way of course! :) I hate to say this would go to me and not a friend or family member, but I NEED this. ;) And with me being a sahm the hubby and I have not really done birthday gifts for eachother ina while. My birthday is right before the giveaway end date. This would make for an awesome birthday. I am new to your site and so far am in love. Not in a creepy way, but in a let’s hang out kind of way. Thanks for the chance to win.

We would love to use this as a portable photo album. With the digital age, there often are no hard copies of photos, its all in the camera/computer. E-mailing pictures is a pain, and getting everyone to come upstairs and look on the computer is worse. This would be perfect! THANK YOU
