Borders Rewards Membership & Kobo eReader Giveaway

I know for many avid readers you love your book stores. For myself as a mom I also love book stores because of all the books and products for children. We shop at Borders, in fact Kai just got a few fall books and I bought two cookbooks. I could spend hours looking at books, cookbooks, and kids books. Kaila of course, loves the wide selection of American Girl books at Borders. She’s been collecting them all and I always know where to find the next one in the series. And while yes I am doing this giveaway for Borders, I did not receive compensation for this post, I have in the past but this post specifically I have not. I do shop and use the Borders rewards program, once you find out the benefits you will too.

Because I shop at Borders so often I signed up for one of their memberships. There’s two different types of Borders rewards programs. A free Rewards program and the new “Borders Rewards Plus” program, which for $20 per year delivers savings on nearly all Borders merchandise, and free shipping on virtually all online orders

Both forms offer a rich array of benefits and savings, such as exclusive in-store and online discounts, personal shopping days, free coffee, a free birthday gift, and Borders Bucks.

In addition:
· Members of the free, enhanced program receive 30% off the list price of hardcover bestsellers and free shipping on online orders of $25 or more.
· Members of the Borders Rewards Plus program receive 40% off the list price of hardcover bestsellers, 20% off the list price of select hardcovers, 10% off the purchase price of most everything else — and free shipping on all virtually online orders.

There’s major benefits of becoming a member of the Borders Rewards Plus program. Sign up now for your extra savings.

I’ve been interested in a eReader, and the Kobo eReader is priced at only $129.99, the Kobo is one of the most popular eReaders on the market. It is lightweight and compact, and comes preloaded with 100 classic books. Of course one of you will have a chance to win one so you’ll have to let me know what you think.

My favorite childhood book was a collection of classic poems with illustrations for children. I used to read and re-read The Jabberwocky, which is the one I remember best. But, there were hundreds, including, of course, the old woman who lived in a shoe and something about an old man who was cold at night….Hmmm thanks for asking; I’ll have to see if I can dig it up. I’m sure I wouldn’t have thrown it away!
