My husband plays video games. Before I had children I played games every now and then. When I played it was always the Skate or snowboarding games. As a snow bunny at heart they were the games that interested me. Plus, they’re so fun to play and the music always rocks! Plus, who doesn’t want to play a game as a guy with a Dr.Pepper double beer hat on a skateboard?
I recently was sent Skate 3 for Xbox 360 to review and if you’ve ever wanted a realistic skateboarding experience Skate 3 is the game. By far it’s the best of the Skate games. One of my favorite parts of the game is making money and upgrading the clothing and accessories. Of course this game has some of the best yet, and you can be almost any kind of character.
And for those who don’t know anything about skating you can take a skate school and learn the ropes. Then team up with other players online and finish challenges and who will win bragging rights. In the challenges you will build your own brand. Do well and you will become a mogul. All updates are sent to any of your social networks so it’s an easy way to amp up the game! Of course with all new Skate games it’s all about where you’ll be skating. I also enjoy the music and always am on the lookout for something new.
We’ve enjoyed this game and think it’s a perfect gift idea for an grad this year.
