One year ago you came into our life. It was perfect. Your Dad and I say you are “so everything” and the truth is, you are.
Every day you make my heart melt. I cannot even begin to express how you make me feel. This past year has truly been one of our most amazing experiences.
Your sister Kaila loves you so very much and I see the way you look at her. In your world she’s everything you want to be. You two have a special bond, and I KNOW it will only continue to grow. Sisters are so very special so remember that for the rest of your life. 
Every day I fall in love with you over and over again.
Nursing you has been one of my greatest accomplishments. I remember when we started only one year ago. I wanted to give up, but you let me know you could do this, we could do this together. And we did. I know at some point this year it will all come to an end. Nursing you has been an adventure, but in so many good ways because I get you to myself. We like to lay in bed, I cuddle you close to my heart and you find your way to my nipple. You even throw your arm around me, pulling me closer. As Mommy sits here in tears I am so happy, nursing you has made me so very happy. So happy that it brings me to tears.

Happy 1st Bday my little baby.
She has grown soo much and I am getting sad that she is moving out of the baby stage. Luckily we have a lot of pictures to remember both of them. I hope to have both of them travel the world like their daddy. Really helps to open the mind and eyes on what really makes us all different. They are both sweethearts and show much respect for all people which is what is important.

Now it really feels official that my baby is a year…because it feels like since we all (You, Alex and myself) went through everything together, that it wasn’t final until Brooklin turned a year. I don’t know if that made any sense…but I tried.
