Somehow every day I see Brooklin do something new. Lately it been things like pretending and following around her sister. Today we rolled on the floor for what seemed like an hour. I got down there with her. Sometimes I don’t do that enough, seeing the world from her level.
We rolled and laughed. She likes to laugh, she has an actual LOL. It’s just a sneak peak at what her voice will sound like, just the sound makes my heart grow.
The other day I caught her at the play kitchen. Kai’s not into it anymore and so far it’s been the perfect way to explore for Brooklin. Brooklin was using a spoon and stirring in a pan. I saw every so often she would go and put the spoon to her mouth. Earlier that day I played with Kai. She made me food, something she hasn’t done in quite some time. I pretended to eat pizza and cucumber and sip my blueberry juice while Brooklin looked upon.
It all makes sense now.
