Yesterday, I was given the opportunity to go behind the scenes of WalMart and P&G’s newest family movie, “In My Shoes”. The movie - filmed right here in Portland, Oregon is the newest movie they’ve been working on. Huge thank you to their teams of people, amazing wonderful group of women. I was so honored to be able to attend.
I was joined on set by 6 other Top Mom Bloggers, @MomStart @mamaspohr @eightymphmom @BettyBuzz, and @MommyQ. The experience was so fascinating. I did a few things on live T.V. as a teenager, but never knew everything that goes into just one scene of a movie. It’s just incredible to be able to have seen the process and understand how it all works together. The actors were so fun and so perfect for their roles and I enjoyed having a chance to meet them.
What I love about WalMart and P&G is they are truly bringing back good wholesome family movies. It’s something we can all gather around and not be afraid of the messages that are being sent to our children. And the messages they are sending are about character, imagination, sympathy, values I am trying to teach my children.

The next movie to air on NBC is The Jensen Project on July 19th 8/7c. Make it a family movie night!
