Almost one year ago, Brooklin was born and it seems like it was not even that long ago. Last year was a very busy one for and it ended up coming and going all so quick. This year I’m teaming up with my two pregnant gal pals who had children born around the same time as Brooklin. So why not share the birthday joy again this year.
So what’s a birthday without cake?
Bake Me a Wish was kind enough to send Jackie, Alex and I birthday cakes for our celebrations. What I find unique about Bake Me a Wish is you can get a cake for any occasion delivered to anyone, anywhere. There’s something about sending a nice treat to someone who lives far away. And it’s definitely perfect for birthdays! I was sent the decadent Mississippi Mud Cake which is made of chocolate pound cake and is drizzled with white chocolate. My favorite detail was the “Happy Birthday” written in gold edible glitter on a piece of chocolate.
Bake Me A Wish has a program called Operation: Birthday Cake where you can send a cake to a soldier overseas. A sweet treat for those who fight for our freedom and a great way to bring a little home to our soldiers in the field.
Bake Me A Wish has kindly offered one of my readers a Mississippi Mud Cake cake to celebrate a celebration of your very own.
