Giveaway will end Feb. 23rd (my birthday)
At the end of this month I will officially have another birthday. It seems as if there’s always someone’s birthday to celebrate around my home and I love the idea of making cupcakes. Plus, it’s a great way to get my children involved. The things is, when making homemade cupcakes they don’t always look as cute as the ones the store makes. I know at my child’s birthday party I’d love for the food to look semi-professional and utterly cute! That’s when you can look to companies like Wilton.
Wilton has been making baking and party goods since 1929 and their products were used often in my home growing up. Wilton recently released new party products which are perfect for creating your own parties. With products like Celebration Cupcake Wraps’n Pix an adorable cupcake wrap. Top off your own cake or cupcakes with the Sweet Dots Royal Icing Decorations. Top off a homemade cake or even a basic store-bought one with the Sweet Dots Photo Cake Topper. What’s great about the new birthday products is that there really is a style for everyone. Any child’s party could go well with these party products, and there are styles for basic celebrations. Cake in my eyes, goes well with anything!
Of course top off any homemade creation with sparkle icing, don’t forget the Sprinkles & Sugars. They can easily add pizazz to any homemade creation. Wilton also carries a variety of Cupcake Pans I actually own one and I’ve made all kinds of things in them. Nothing sticks! Check out this adorable Dimensions® Giant Cupcake Pan perfect for making a smash cake for first birthdays. Or a special cake just for the birthday boy/girl. My children would love it!
Check out Wilton for more party ideas!
Wilton has given me an entire birthday set to give away. It includes everything in the picture and is valued at $180.00.

I would love the Cyclone Whisk and I own the spoon scraper so I can tell you it’s amazing.
I have thrown some amazing birthday parties for my daughter. I usually pick a theme: Mardi Gras, carnival, rock and roll, drama queen. Then I hit sites like Family Fun. I use recipes from there, or the M&M site (great rock and roll cake like an album), etc. I find great invites, plates, napkins at the dollar tree. So much fun!

I am in the process of planning my daughter’s birthday party, so I am in search of tips myself… Plan a lot of small simple activities, but go with the flow, and don’t disrupt a good dinamic just to introduce a new planned activity. That is my plan at least. Last year I tacked a roll of paper a couple of yards long on a wall so the kids (3 year olds) could doodle on it. I plan to do the same this year.
I love Wilton, and I am very excited about this giveaway; from their site I would get the Easter Colored Metal Cutter Set and the Happy Birthday Candle Pick Set.
I like the baby themed cookie cutters and the cake stands.
I love the 6 Cup Jumbo Muffin Pan and the 3-Pc. Paisley Pan Set. Their cake pans make it so easy to make super cute cakes that look like you spent a lot of time on them.

I like the rolled fondant in both white and multi primary color. I have never used fondant and would love to try it.
I like the Bite-Size Gingerbread Boy Pan and the Choo-Choo Train Pan Set. I always like to let my kids help me with their birthday cakes because the memory is that much more fun for them if they helped. Thanks for the great contest!
Have your birthday party away from home!!
On Wilton’s website, I like the train cake pan and the guitar cake pan!

I just checked out their site and I wish I had the fire truck cake pan last week for my son’s fire truck birthday party! He would have loved it! Also, I really think the silicone cupcake holders with the feet are so adorable!
I love baking and my tip is to bake as much as I can with my young children. They love it!
I love the reciperight Angel Food pan, and the Brownie decoratiing set.
I like the 6 cup Jumbo Muffin pan and the Brownie Decorating Kit. For easy birthday party tips, we actually for my daughters 10th birthday made small cakes for each girl, then let them each frost and decorate their own cake. It was fairly inexpensive and lots of fun. The gift they got to take home was the cake! We just threw drop cloths down over the floor and the table and let them go for it!
I like the Jumbo Cookie Spatula and the Tilt’ n Mix 3 Pc. Bowl Set. My tips are to have a few crafts that folks can make.

Love the Baby Buggy cake pan and the Star Cookie treat pan!
Easy tips… give choices to the child but don’t over do-it, always feed the kids and adults, more expensive doesn’t always mean better, one of the best parties we ever had was a slip ‘n slide in the backyard with a bunch of snack food and homemade bday cake!
Thanks
I like the Dimensions® Giant Cupcake Pan and the Checkerboard Cake Set.
I love the Princess Ariel Pan and the Princess Cupcake Wraps! Having 2 granddaughters who have birthdays 2 days apart makes the time a lot of fun in preparation for their always “all girly, all princess…all the time parties! These would be great for them. A fun tip for children’s birthday parties is to have a theme…play it up and top it off with a pinata that matches. Fill it with fun little toys and treats, blindfold each child (in turn!), and watch the fun begin as they swat at it with a plastic bat. Of course….carefully supervised by the adults!
I like the Cupcake Fun book and the cookie press!
Thanks!!
