Every week Eighty MPH Mom hosts Monday Mingle. It’s one of the best parts of the weeks so please stop by and visit her and all the mingle-rs.

It’s so nice to finally be back!! I think I’m going to come up with some fun questions and I encourage you to submit them too. Visit Eighty MPH Mom for more info.

Holy cow girl, you look so pretty today! Somethings different about you and it shows. Maybe it’s just that i haven’t seen you in a few weeks because I’m a Mingle slacker.

I loved the American Girls too. Molly was my favorite. I don’t know why but her geeky little pretty girl thing was just the best.

Spiders freak me out too! They give me the heeby-jeebies. I kill all my house plants, lol.

My oldest daughter loved the American Girls series. I listened to her read them. Other than that, I don’t know much about them.

Spiders. Another spider phobia. Everyone seems to hate those things.

lol You have plants that live??? Wow! Come to my house with your green thumb then! Mine struggle every day.

Your hair looks pretty!! Hopefully you can relax a bit tonight :)

Spiders lol I have spider criteria… If they’re legs are super hairy or long, ick. And if their body is all SHINY?! No way. Otherwise the “normal” and non-threatening spiders get a courtesy ride on a piece of paper and are reintroduced to the outside world. :D

Have a great week, doll!

Spiders! ha! i hate them too. I didn’t think of spiders when I do my mingle.
houseplants..Cool. You keep them alive? That is awesome!
Thanks for joining!

Spiders seem to be a popular phobia – ewwww!

I agree with Erin – you look gorgeous in this mingle. I love your hair and you just look “fresh”!

Thanks for the shout out and encouraging others to submit questions…I definitely need some!

Have a great week!

Holy cow you do look tired.. OMSI will do that to you! :)

You know they say that house plants are the step below pets.. LOL

8 alex February 1, 2010 at 6:38 am

Lol OMSI seemed to wear you out! That’s okay, I went home and took a NAP with Ariana after dropping Konnor off at my grandma’s. Hehe. And Andrea and Karie are right, you are totally thinning out! Hot hot!

I don’t like spiders either. Icky icky!

Yeah, I have to give you kudos to keeping the plants alive. I wouldn’t be able to do the same. :D

Happy Monday! Hope you get everything done for school and don’t get too exhausted!

Hey there beautiful! I hate to be inappropriate on every Monday Mingle but you looked nakey when I first clicked on this. ha! I was thinking… score for Kristin! ;)

I have a lot going on with school this week too. I want spring break already. lol

Is it bad that I have never ever read an American Girls book or even know who they are???

10 Melissa Multitasking Mama February 1, 2010 at 12:38 pm

Plants don’t make it in my house so I am impressed…
spiders- yuck, I agree and American Girl dolls- hard to believe we played with them too and they are still so popular.

Have a great week!!

11 @LastMinuteMandy February 1, 2010 at 2:17 pm

I am okay with spiders. I think it’s b/c when I used to go camping with girl scouts you had to be okay with the thought that there would definitely be tons of daddy long legs around.

I can’t keep a plant alive to save my life. It’s a running joke, here actually. “How do you keep the kids alive if you kill all the plants?” Yeah, I am NOT a gardner, but I’d love to be one some day!

Thanks for encouraging me to join in – loving my first mingle!

12 Robyns Online World February 1, 2010 at 3:00 pm

I am joining in again this week too – it’s fun! House plants are a nice alternative to plants, I’m sure they are MUCH cheaper to maintain and not nearly as gross to clean up after!

13 Susan (5 Minutes for Mom) February 2, 2010 at 3:08 am

I’ve never read any American Girls books… I think I’m too old and I don’t think they were around when I was little.

I hate spiders too and I can’t believe how many minglers listed spiders as one of their top fears.

I don’t have pets NOR plants.

Talk soon
Susan
ps, My mingle is at http://www.sayitfacetoface.com/conversations/february-1-2010-monday-mingle#replies

14 Sarah @ Queen Mommy February 3, 2010 at 1:47 pm

The American girl books, spiders, and house plants.
This was a veritable cornucopia of information that I will be using against you to obtain control of your mytouch so that I can throw it off the Dumbo ride. The iTouch will reign supreme!! MWAHAHAHA!

15 daddybookins February 4, 2010 at 2:21 pm

Spiders!!!! All the way, completely agree!

You know, we do not have any houseplants….they always die :o (

I totally dig the name Brooklin for your lil one! Cheers!

Peas Out!

I hear you on the schoolwork, that’s why it has taken me until Friday to be doing my Monday Mingle . . . . LOL!

I’m terrible at taking care of houseplants. I think I’d do better with pets since at least they make noise when they’re hungry!!

Hope you’re having a great week :-)
