Easy Chocolate Candy Recipe

DSCN0299

I finally just did my shopping for my home-made holdiday goodies and I will be baking for the next two days. Of course adding in the mix is my moms candy balls. Del’s family now also looks forward to them so in keeping with my traditions, I am making all sorts of goodies.

Easy Chocolate and Coconut Balls

1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 boxes powder sugar
2 sticks butter
1tsp vanilla
for coconut: just add 1 bag coconut
chocolate & walnuts: add walnuts and cocoa power to the mix

Mix it how you want. Then cool the mix for 4 hours. To make the chocolate coating you take 2 pans.  Place water in one and place a smaller pan inside with the chocolate and shaved paraffin wax. It will make and you take the hardened mix and make balls and dip it in the coating. Dip with toothpick and cover holes with extra chocolate melt.

What kind of goodies do you make?
