This is going to be our easiest year. We are not going out of town very far (for the first time ever). We do have 3 Christmas’s in one week, though. Thank you

16 Melanie December 12, 2009 at 11:07 am

Its chaotic because we are having more people that first expected! But everyone is welcome so we’ll make it work.

17 Valeen N December 12, 2009 at 11:35 am

Thankfully we don’t have any Christmas travel plans this year. But we will be getting together with family and friends! I love that! i think Christmas time is generally hectic and a tad chaotic, but it’s a fun chaos!

18 Justine December 12, 2009 at 1:26 pm

Not sure if we’re traveling this year but usually we have to split our christmas between multiple families which is very difficult! We would be going from Seattle to Portland which means going from one state to another!

28 Kate S December 12, 2009 at 4:48 pm

We just get together with family, and with each passing year, I stress a little less. My shopping is done, and only have to wrap items and make up a shopping list and menu for a casual buffet for Christmas Day. This is not the time for stress everyone…this is a time of family, love, enjoying one anothers company! MERRY CHRISTMAS!~

We have two sets of relatives who each live 100 miles away in opposite directions. Both families want us to come over for Xmas Eve and Xmas Day dinner. I haven’t got enough room to host both families at my house. We spend a lot of time driving on the holiday. The upside is that our little family has a ton of fun singing Xmas songs and telling Xmas jokes and riddles on the way to our visits. Great joy ensues. And I hope great joy ensues for you and yours …Happy Hols!

43 sal williams December 12, 2009 at 7:49 pm

I entered you in Mag…. Good Luck!

45 Rozie H. December 12, 2009 at 8:15 pm

My hubby is leaving Monday to go to visit family for a week; they are having Christmas early. Due to work demands, I won’t be able to go this year, so I’ll just be staying at home.

46 Laura DeLuca December 12, 2009 at 8:21 pm
47 Shannon December 12, 2009 at 9:06 pm

I’ll probably travel to see my dad

48 Michelle H, December 12, 2009 at 9:25 pm

What is chaotic for me is keeping up with the my kids activities. I really don’t have any travel plans.

49 Andi December 12, 2009 at 9:29 pm

With three young kids, we do all of our travelling the weekend before to visit family. Christmas Eve and Day are our time to stay close to home with hot cocoa and warm pjs. The grandparents come over and visit after the kids have opened up their gifts from Santa and can see what he brought them!
