It seems as if she was just born, how is it that my baby isn’t such a baby anymore? I catch glimpses of the fragile newborn every now and then. I said I had wanted to slow down, take this baby in. Drink in every day, every moment. I don’t regret anything in the past 6 months, I feel like I’ve enjoyed her. We all have. As a family she makes us all complete. She is the sister and playmate Kaila always wanted.
It seems like each day we have a new milestone. These days is mobility, rather then a coo or smile. It so wonderful to watch her she’s so fascinated in the world around her. Brooklin is now almost 6 months old, and she sits up by herself. She scoots around the floor pulling herself along. She is able to focus on an object she wants to get, and actually be able to somehow get it all by herself. Her basic means of movement now is rolling and pulling herself but it won’t be long.
What’s nice is that even at this age you still get a glimpse or two at that helpless infant. Something your infant may have done since birth. For Brooklin its her tongue. She blows raspberries and gives slobbery kisses.
But when she sleeps you can still see it.

We will be planning one-year birthdays before we know it! Awww who am I kidding – I already have been thinking about that one year mark. Yikes!!

Awww! She is so cute! They get big so fast! Mine is 18 months old today and I can’t believe that last Christmas he was only 6 months old! She is darling and looks like lots of fun!
