Softspot By Wozzy – More Than Just a Playmat

by Kristin on November 21, 2009

baby on playmatIt’s not very often I review something that I fall absolutely in love with. The softspot has me excited since they sent me one of the softspots for this review. Brooklin is now 5 months old, which means she wants to be on the floor where she’s able to move around and do what she wants. Its hard with our our hardwood floors making playing on the ground not very comfortable or fun. We recently added a rug trying to combat the problem but it was still too firm. Brooklin is also starting to sit up by herself,  and she still falls over so it’s nice to have a soft surface for her to “land” on which this is perfect for.

So what had me sold? The owners story of course. Just listen to this ingenious idea:

Amie Wozniak – In a house full of hard flooring, I needed a soft spot to set my baby girl while I was getting dressed, cooking or doing the hundred other things busy moms do during the day. Tired of fussing with bunched up blankets that were neither safe nor neat, I searched for a mat that would do the trick. I wanted something safe, clean and easy to store and transport. When none could be found, this mom became a mom-inventor and developed a product that would work for my family. DSCN9912

The Softspot by Wozzy is a lightweight pad and it is easy to clean. You can purchase extra CoziCovers which are easy and convenient to use. Baby spits up, you can easily take off the snug fitting cover for cleaning. They don’t bunch or move around like a blanket on a smooth surface plus the cover is super soft! Your baby will not outgrow the mat for many years.  It is also portable and can be taken on-the-go as baby gets older.

Her and Kaila both love it. Its also nice to lay down on when we are playing with her/them, instead of the harder floor.
