I love movies that tell real stories and movies about human emotion and feeling. Oprah Winfrey’s new movie “Precious” looks like one of the best films of the year.
It’s the story of a girl who lives each day struggling. (Much like my story) Precious is an African-American obese teen who is thrown many obstacles on a day-to-day basis. Pregnant with her second baby and living with a family dependent, and on welfare, she decides to make a change. The story deepens as her father is the man who fathered her second unborn child.
Through all of the bad in Precious‘ life she always has her dreams. This is to one day be truly loved and to be a model. With the help of some inspirational people in her life Precious might just make that change.
This movie is bound to be one of the best of this year and features one of my favorite women, Mariah Carey. It’s a movie about hope and dreams. The feeling of never giving up, no matter what the world throws at you.
I wouldn’t see many movies in theaters, but this is one I can’t wait to see!

I want to see this SO bad! I saw the previews for it the other day and I was immediately pulled in wanting to know the story.
