One of the best toys for any Christmas is a toy with an educational factor which make for wonderful gifts that any child will love. Plus they have a learning side to them.
A few months ago, we received a LeapFrog Tag Jr from Leapfrog for Kaila to try out. Since then Kaila has used it so much, luckily we have rechargeable batteries in it. The LeapFrog Tag Jr is for ages 2-4. The large size of the hand reader makes it easy for any little kids. We also got the LeapFrog Tag Junior Book: Mr. Brown Can Moo. Can You? which she still likes to read through sometimes.
Kaila is repeating the words on one book. She’s enjoying it, and I enjoy the different lessons each book teaches. The Mr. Brown’s book introduces rhythm and rhyming.
LeapFrog products have what’s called the Learning Path, as your child plays along you are able to receive updates about your child’s learning. I’ve already received updates from Kaila’s Tag Jr.
I think it’s a great tool since as your child progress’s the skill level also increases. This means your child isn’t constantly doing the same thing, it grows with them. You may even begin to see patterns in your child’s learning, noticing what they like best. This is one of LeapFrog’s best solutions for parents, which it allows for parents to interact in what they child is learning.

I would give this to my son (2). His 5 yr old brother has the regular Leap Frog reading system and my 2 yr old is always wanting to use it. This would fit his hands better and he’d love it.
We also love the Zippity Learning System. My son saw a commercial for that today and keeps asking for it. It’s one we’ll most likely buy for both boys.
