Giveaway Ends Dec. 5th

strollerI never really thought about it with Kaila, that one day I’d be toting around a two-seater stroller. We did realize when having Brooklin, that we would need to get Brooklin her own things. Most things are individual and some things are hand me  downs, but with them being such different ages, Brooklin has own things she uses and needs.

One thing that any parent who has two children or more, is a stroller for two.  Since Brooklin is getting older, taking her for walks is always a relaxing thing to do. What’s nice is that I can share a double strollers between them, and as a mother with two small children it really is a necessity. One of the best gifts a family with multiple children can get, is something they can actually use. A good stoller is one of those gifts. However, it can be a gift for anytime.

I’ve been lucky enough to test out two types of double strollers, and I have to now say the tandem setup is my favorite. Both types are big and bulky, but there’s no getting around bulkiness when it comes to double strollers. The Kolcraft Options Tandem Stroller has 6 different ways to be used. Just check it out, Del will show you some of the ways to set it up and use it. I will warn you, it was not pull out the box and use.  But if you follow the directions if is easy to assemble.

As seen in the video, the seats can be adjusted and turned to face away or towards each other. This will be nice when we want to take a relaxing walk and Kaila just wants to play and see her sister. At the same time, if she decides during the walk that she wants to see where she is going, it takes about 1 minute to take her out and turn the seat outwards.

Also the attachments for this stroller are convenient.  The car seat adapter is a must for anyone with a newborn. We did not attach it in the video, but attaching any car seat is a snap, and it has straps to secure the seat down, besides the little claw hook on the car seat

And if you wondering about size, it folds up pretty tightly. It is not too bulky, and when folded up, it measure a little over 3 and 1/2 Feet at its longest length, which is the handle bar to wheels (the longest part).  In the picture is folds to sit about 1 and 3/4 Foot tall.  Also, in the picture it is folded up with both seats attached.  If you remove one of the seats, and can get it to get even smaller.

I want to thank Kolcraft for sending me this stroller for review, and for provided 1 lucky winner with their very own, brand new Kolcraft Contours Tandem Stroller.

Some of the features I found useful were:stroller closed

  • Narrow Profile, which makes navigating in busy areas much easier.
  • Ability to add on a infant  car-seat if needed.
  • The ease to adjust the direction and angles of the individual seats.
  • The seat handle bar’s design which allows for easy access and restraint of child.
  • Cup-holders!
  • The basket size is nice for people who need to carry extra items ie: baby/kid items, groceries, etc. Plus it’s easy to get things in and out of.
  • Large adjustable canopy to keep kids free of wind, rain, and sun.
  • Easy to menuver and very light weight to push.
  • When completely folded it stores well.
