My friend Alex said that she shares her sons love for Dinosaurs. When she said that it immediately made me think, I too share Kai’s love for dinosaurs. When I first saw Ice Age Dawn of The Dinosaurs I knew Kai would love it, once we were has it to review I knew we’d all enjoy it. I don’t watch many kids cartoons, but for family movie this was great.
The story features all the same Ice Age characters. The mammoths Manny and Ellie are pregnant, and of course Sid the crazy sloth is in the movie. He quickly adopts three eggs and before he knows it they’ve hatched. Little did he know he had three baby T-Rex’s in the eggs which they thought dinosaurs were extinct. Of course the real mom T-Rex comes to find her babies and chaos ensues.
This movie is overall funny, a great story for the whole family. It’s about parenthood, with a comedic twist. The Ice Age movies are always fun since it seems like the creators took their inspiration from Road Runner type cartoons.
Great Friday night movie!!
