Many of you don’t know the drama that goes on “behind the scenes” in the mommy blogophere. There’s a group of “bullies” per-say, that sit behind a forum hurting everyone who isn’t in their clique community. Beside that point, what has recently come to attention is the making up of lies. It has even gone as far as this email being sent out. And while this email wasn’t sent to me, it has saddened and shocked many moms who blog.
It has become quite a spectacle to see you view every other blog out in the blog world and steal all of the ideas other women have come up with for reviews. Do any of you ever have a single original thought?
yes-everyone already knows the answer to that questions is no.when a blogger has posted a review and a couple weeks later you have it on your site, plus 5 other reviews from that blogger it is apparent what you are doing. This is not mature, integral or okay.
Your blogs as so unattractive that I am surprised the reps agree to do the reviews. Or do they? Most of your posts are fake.stop being thieves and acting like 10 year olds.
Earlier today, myself and a few other bloggers had a moment of silence to reflect on the past year. On all the reviews we’ve done, and the relationships we’ve created. I truly am saddened by the reaction and actions of some people in the blogosphere. I’ve been told bloggers go as far as to contact every person other bloggers work with. They send out these types of nasty emails to other bloggers. They take pictures at blogging events of pregnant woman, post them online and say they guzzled alcohol while pregnant. They even send out these nasty emails to other bloggers. But why?
So I’m writing this to ask you PR Reps of the online world, why? Did you know this type of behavior exists? Have you gotten emails bashing other bloggers? Do you take them seriously? There seems to be such a fight over reviews bloggers saying one stole ideas, pictures and whatnot. Who really cares? Essentially most “pitches” you get are just copy and pasted from bloggers who created a “review email”. You do look at blogs and these personal bloggers you work with for character and content, not just stats, hopefully.
Send me an email, I’d love to hear what anyone has to say and all emails will be held confidential.

Seriously can’t we all help one another out? Some bloggers feel superior why? I’ve been around just as long yet somehow I find this all insulting. I like the women I surround myself with, what’s with bashing others? In private or not..

I love the campaigns in which you work on, I am involved in many myself. Most blogegrs should know those reviews and pitches are sent out to more than one blogger. So yes, there are duplications of reviews.
I have always tried to steer clear of bashing and being clique-ish. In high school I was friends with everyone. In the military I was friends with everyone.
Life is too short to be mean and pick on other people. And it makes me sad when I see/hear people being mean to others.
I remember last year there was a blogger (I can’t remember who she was) but people were being mean to her. I never heard from her again…and it broke my heart!
I hope this all stops soon, sweetie. Just keep being who you are and don’t reply if someone is being nasty to you. They’ll eventually stop…right? {hugs}

Its so unfortunate the jealous, spiteful, angry, rude, disgusting things that some of these people say who feel so “holier-than-thou.”
What happened to if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all?
What happened to keeping mean words to yourself?
There’s no need for blogging to be like reverting back to high school, although as great as it was for me, I wouldn’t go back there. And I sure as hell don’t like experiencing it again now.
I enjoy the cliquish idiocy that happens in the blogosphere. If it didn’t happen, who would I have to make fun of? They’re just so….mediocre? The picture of people that peaked in high school. I love it. It makes me laugh.
Here’s my take on things. No matter what you think about another person, it’s just not cool to go on the attack outright. If that person had an issue with how they thought someone was going about their connections, there are about a million and one other ways to do it with much more tact and class. It’s pretty appalling and asinine imho to send an email like that to another blogger. Like I said, if they had issues with the other bloggers reviewing/pr tactics/whatever they should have attempted to hold an ADULT conversation first.
Yup it was me.. I got that nasty email! I admit it! I mind my bizzness! Avoid conflict and to be honest, I am a nice woman! However, don’t mistake my kindness for weakness. I have a kind heart but I am not a fool, nor am I am sucker!
I am up at 5 am, and go to bed after midnight most nights.
I have never stolen from someone else nor do I plagiarize. That just not how I roll. If The Person who sent me that email had something to say, then By God be woman enough to send it with a real name! I am tired of all these Blog Shenanigans and nonsense!

I am sure PR reps do not know this is going on behind the scenes, whether it be about review ideas or just how rude many of these people really are. They would cringe.
I am really sad that something this awful and rude happened to such a sweet person! I am about fed up with this asinine behavior from grown adults, and something needs to be done once and for all.

This is really sad to me. If they’re accusing you of things you don’t do, it’s probably because they’re doing them. Second, they didn’t put who the email was from??? These people are weak and meaningless and should be ignored. They either need to shut up or get a back bone!
Can I ditto what Chelle says? Because I totally agree. I am so not a drama person and I hope it all stops.

I see the same reviews on tons of blogs, and I also get lot’s of emails from companies and reps sent to “undisclosed receipiants”. This means that not just one person receives it. Crazy how some people think that their shit don’t stink! And that they think so highly of themselves that it’s apparent they are the ONLY ones in the world that should ever be doing anything. Boo hooo…Somebody did the same review, oh freaking well!

I don’t get why you are talking about this when you are the queen of thefy of content. Not only do you steal numerous blog posts, but you brag about it. I don’t see how companies work with you because of your dishonesty, lack of knowledge and you content, well, sucks. You write about free shit so to speak, yet you bash real, honest review bloggers for what they clearly do better than you do. You are in school, correct? You are a mother, no? You are in your 20’s? Then act like it. Posts like these make me not want to have anything to do with ‘review mom blogs’ because all I see on your site it drama. Drama. If I want to review drama, I know where to come.

This was about bloggers bashing other bloggers.And hateful emails which you yourself like to do. You even claim you contact all the people I work with. saying what?
So we can talk bashing other bloggers. Which in fact you have done. Inside your forums at momdot you even planned to hit me long before blogher. How do I know? It’s a forum everything can be easily copy and pasted.

Hey check Tanyas @mommygoggles site on blogged or alexa, and others, and it is listed as review, markets, etc, NOT parenting or mommy blogging. She is mad because she copy and pastes and google knocked her page rank down to a ZERO…now she cant compete with Kristin so she is gonna try and bring Kristin down to her level…
Also we looked up the IP of that comment, and its a proxy from someone Blackberry. I know Tanya likes her blackberry…hmmm
