Borders Books, Toys, and Games – $100 Giftcard Giveaway

Christmas Gift Guide banner

Giveaway will end Dec. 5th

TBorders Books and Games Isle Signhis past week, Borders was nice enough to provide our family with a $100 gift card to Boarders books, and now toys, movies, and more. This was a chance to go and check out the new toy and games section at Borders. I haven’t been into Borders all year and I am surprised by how much they have added. It’s not your average bookstore anymore and they carry much more than just books.

Borders new toys and games section has a wide variety. They carry popular brands like Lego, Melissa and Doug, Alex Toys, and many more. They also have a wide assortment of games and science experiments. Kaila loves puzzles, so we like the wide variety they carry for children of all ages. Your average box store toy store isle doesn’t carry a wide selection of puzzles so if your child is into puzzles, I highly recommend Borders. Other game brands include Creativity for Kids, Thinkfun, Scientific Explorer, Blue and Orange Games, again with many more brands. All of these brands are recognized for their ability to foster cognitive skills.

Borders also has a wide variety of books, and they do different activities for children different times of the week. Last weekend was a Fancy Nancy party, which was complete with parade around the store. And right after Thanksgiving is a Polar Express pajama party! I love that the store is doing activities for kids, and especially on cold winter days it would be nice to have a place to take the kids especially living here in the Pacific Northwest.

Since they recently expand toy and game isles in 500 of their stores there is bound to be one near you! Plus they’re playing Christmas music which really helps to set the festive “mood.” One of our local Boarders store was having a buy two get one free deal on all toys so we got Kaila some toys and cool craft kits. They do have all kinds of toys for both boys and girls and from young to older.

games for $100

Because of the buy two get one free deal on toys we were able to get all these toys and a giant coloring book for only $100.  Honestly I really love the wide variety of craft kits, and since Borders has a wide variety of these kits we picked out some really fun ones for Kai. The Alex toys craft bucket is perfect for preschool crafting, it even comes with wiggly eyes! Water works bathtub set and the fishing bathtub set will give Kaila time of fun. The Fairy Garden Kit really grows small plants, plus Kaila will get to create a small little fairy cottage. We also got a Butterfly Decorating Kit for her room and a PlayFoam Set. All this for $100!

Check out your local Borders today for all these kits and more!

  44. The Santa Cruz borders kid section is so big! And with a new nephew I see all these books and games with more possibilities. I love their big bucket of stuffed animals-plush dolls with so much texture. And I think the game cranium– so silly- would be fun for our whole family.
I remember my sister and I made our own game of putting puzzles together of the world and of the USA and we would race who could put it together the fastest!
