LeapFrog Introduces Zippity

DSCN8315DSCN8317DSCN8320

LeapFrog is taking a leap forward with the first full-bodied learning system called Zippity. LeapFrog was kind enough to give Kaila a Zippity to test out.

It’s incredibly easy to use, the bopper and interactive mat allow children to play games in a whole new way. From the moment we turned it on Kaila did everything herself. I think LeapFrog really designed a game that children within the 3-5 range can actually play. It’s not incredibly complicated yet had a lot packed in. There are games preloaded and the console is wireless. Who really wants to keep a game and all it’s cords out all over the floor?

By the end of Kaila’s first game she was a pro easily moving around the bopper. I like that it’s also teaching her right form left, something I’ve been trying. It’s putting those skills to use that’s helping her learn. She’s getting real experience, and for her it’s a lot of fun.

Zippity also has what’s called the Learning Path, as your child plays along you are able to receive updates about your child’s learning. Most LeapFrog products now have this, I’ve already received updates from Kaila’s Tag Jr. I think it’s a great tool since as your child progress the skill level also increases. This means your child isn’t constantly doing the same thing, it grows with them.  You may even begin to see patterns in your child’s learning, noticing what they like best. This is one of LeapFrog’s best solutions for parents, it really allows for interactive learning. Check out Learning Path for more information.

Buy It! You can purchase direct from LeapFrog, or at your local Target.

The Tag Reading System offers children an imaginative and innovative way to not only learn how to read but really dive into the story. Our two year old son loves to jump and the mere mention of the word trampoline gets him up and moving.
