It’s Pumpkin Time

DSCN9490

Over the years we’ve had all sizes and shapes of pumpkins, big ones, small ones, short ones, and tall ones. Every year our pumpkins are special, we gather as a family and scoop some out. It’s a tradition, as with many families, and the weeks before Halloween wouldn’t be complete without the pumpkins.

This year is no different, we picked some that we thought were fabulous and they sat on our porch until this evening. I remember last year at this time I was 3 months pregnant with Brooklin. Now a whole year later and she is here to enjoy it with us. DSCN9491

We’re starting a whole new year with a whole new set of memories.

Kai actually got to scoop a pumpkin!

This was the first year we carved a pumpkin with our little ones too. My daughter didn’t like the guts either, but my son LOVED them! Looks like you had as much fun as we did! Great job on your pumpkin! :-)

I always love the season of fall. This in spite of the fact that I was highly allergic, as a child, to the fallen leaves. Going to get a pumpkin or two, and then make a stop at a Cider mill, were always great fun. Happy memories I am now sharing with my kids.
