Because of my childhood, I feel the need to over document the lives of my children. I have taken thousands of photos over the years, and I feel like, I will and can never have too much. I know I need a new camera, a “real” one. That is our plan for the New Year. So tell me what brand do you like and why? I want a camera not a point and shoot. Something that is professional.

I take tons of photos all the time. As far as a camera goes I want a Nikon, but I have a Casio, it’s a point and shoot, but there are so many settings on it, you can capture the photo just right when things are tweaked just perfectly. Plus, all photographers need a great point and shoot to have on them at all times. : )
Kristin, your little girl pic in the big brown boots is REALLY amazing. She is SO beautiful! Wow, I just had to tell ya, you have a natural born model on your hands!
I am with you on taking LOTS O PICS!! Besides they change so much you just love to take pics of them. I have an Olympus Digital SLR and I LURVE it! It’s a little big, but well worth all the photos it takes.
If you want a professional camera the Nikkon is the one to go with, they’ve been doing it a long time and they know what they’re doing. I don’t think there’s such a thing as too many photographs. I think sometimes you can get so caught up on taking pictures of things you take yourself out of the moment.
