City, move me..

I love living in Portland, image the streetcar that runs through the center of the Portland State University campus is everything I love about this city. PSU is located downtown and I love being down there. It’s the whole vibe, it’s a Portland thing I guess. Portland inspires me, this city is so unique. Always giving back..

As scared as I am, I like the school. I’m nervous since as a junior all of my core classes are done. The only classes I need are my core Business classes and then another 23 marketing credits from there.  A few people have asked what classes I’m taking so here they are. Visual Basic 2008 W/Dvd, Intro to Business and World affairs, Public Speaking.

Honestly programming, public speaking who knows what I was thinking. Is this major right for me? I get computers, right? Will Brooklin be okay while I’m gone?  Will this be the right move for me? Am I just not smart enough?

Today I pack for my trip to New York. I feel like somehow the city might change me. Maybe I’ll find something I’ve been searching for. Maybe the city will inspire me. Maybe it will give back….

You are definitely smart enough, and you’ll do well! Your classes actually sound pretty interesting…..
And I can’t wait to see you. :-)

  2. Those are all valid questions to ask yourself, but I think if it’s something that challenges you in a good way where you have to learn, then it’s good. Plus when you rough it, the success is even sweeter!

Enjoy the city and I hope it will welcome you.

I think that baby will be fine and it’s great that you are investing in yourself as an individual.

I’ve been to Portland for only one day. I found it easy to navigate myself around town, and the locals were very patient/nice about giving me direct and correct highlights of the town and how to find them. Portland, nevertheless, is not a town I’d spend the rest of my life in. I suppose you have to be living there to know all of the large and small plus’s of what is great in the Portland area. I was married to a navy man, and the best times of our marriage where the ten months a year he was at sea. Ergo I got to explore places all on my own. I’m in a rural area now, and do like the small town atmosphere. The people could do with a shot of “being friendlier.”
